Preference for Hiring in Employment

It shall be the policy and practice of the Corporate Employers to recruit Corporate Team Members according or the following priorities:

First: Qualified candidates who are enrolled members of the Pueblo of Pojoaque.
Second: Qualified candidates who are not enrolled members of the Pueblo of Pojoaque, but who are spouses, significant others, or children of enrolled members of the Pueblo of Pojoaque. 
Third: Qualified candidates who are enrolled members of another (Non-Pojoaque) Indian Tribe.

To greet guests and provide quality guest service


  • Acknowledges and greets guests
  • Assigns guest to table suitable for the size of the group and escorts them to their seats
  • Informs server that they have guests
  • Cleans work area
  • May serve and bus table as needed
  • May be required to work in other areas of Food & Beverage as needed

·         Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Good verbal communication and customer relations skills
  • Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
  • Must be people oriented and courteous
  • High standards of grooming and hygiene
  • Skill in handling customer requests and complaints
  • Knowledge of restaurant/dining room policies and procedures and daily menus/specials

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Previous FOH restaurant experience strongly preferred

·         Casino Restaurant setting

·         Shift work; Required to work weekends, holidays and overtime

·         Standing/Walking, 100%; may stand or walk up to 4 hours at a time

·         Some light lifting may be required, such as moving tables/chairs and bussing cart

·         Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise

·         Must follow safety precautions and requirements
