Manufacturing & Production Quality Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Creare, a leading engineering research and development firm in Hanover, NH, seeks to fill the position of Manufacturing & Production Quality Engineer (M&PQE). The M&PQE reports to the QA Director and focuses on direct project execution. The M&PQE works closely with the QA Managers and others to ensure that our projects meet or exceed the rigorous standards required by our contracts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: interpreting project-specific contractual requirements into executable actions that must be undertaken by project team; communicating requirements to entire project team including engineers, manufacturing personnel, purchasing, inspectors, receiving/QC inspectors, contracts, etc.; working directly with project teams to ensure contractual requirements are met; identifying potential improvements to corporate-wide procedures that would improve product quality/efficiency; interacting with customer technical and quality assurance personnel to understand requirements and address issues; interacting with contracts and other corporate departments on project-specific issues; leading customer quality assurance audits; understand IS09001 and AS9100 standards and maintain/develop working knowledge of other relevant standards.
Professional Requirements
Engineering degree (from ABET accredited institution) is required, with at least 3 or preferably 5 or more years of relevant experience in an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment. certifications such as Lead Auditor, internal auditor, or ASQ Quality Engineer certification are preferred and demonstrate the candidate’s expertise and commitment to Quality Assurance.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and concern for accuracy, and written and oral communication skills are also required. Knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.

Starting salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.
