DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM (PROGRAM PERFORMANCE)


The Director of Program, as a member of the Program Management Team, is responsible for leveraging our investments- human capital, funding, knowledge, and networks- to achieve CSC’s child outcomes, including reducing racial and ethnic disparities.  The Director is accountable for aligning and integrating overall program-based efforts with CSC’s strategic plan and monitoring the progress of key strategies within the Program Division.  The Director is responsible for supporting Program staff in taking the lead in identifying barriers and finding innovative solutions tied to meeting desired outcomes.  The Director possesses subject matter expertise and organizational leadership required to manage the overall functions of the Program Division noted below, as well as ensure connectivity to external stakeholders and partners.  

While responsible for supporting a practice area whose members capably manage ongoing daily business while driving innovation and change management, the Director will take a cross-functional approach ensuring appropriate connections are made across all functions of the Division. The Director will contribute leadership to the ongoing evolution of the Program Division.  

Functions of the Program Division: Strategic planning; program selection, implementation, oversight and improvement; applied research & evaluation, program and system planning; community partnering, system integration & performance/backbone functions; system convening; growth & innovation; cross-divisional coordination; and program strategy budget.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, with six (6) to six (9) years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing substantial resources with at least three (3) years managing people, inclusive of project teams and/or programs, required and strong relationship management, team leadership and community engagement skills and the ability to thrive in a continually changing environment.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
