SUMMER INTERN POSITION

Strategy and Operations

The purpose of the Summer Internship Program is to introduce local college students to vast opportunities available within the world of social services.  Interns will learn and grow in a supportive environment through job shadowing, participation in cross-functional teams, mentoring, and hands-on experiences.  Additionally, they’ll work with other interns on a self-selected team project. Through this exchange, interns will be exposed to ways they can directly and positively impact the lives of our community members.

Job Summary

The Strategy and Operations intern works with staff to enhance their interest, understanding, and skills related to areas including strategy management, operations management, and contract administration. Responsibilities may include:

  • Learn about and participate in the operationalization of a new strategic plan
  • Gain knowledge of contract administration and assist with related tasks
  • Participate in the annual asset inventory process
  • Perform data quality reviews in contract records management platform
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements relating to public records management, assisting with record management tasks
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of procurement policies and procedures, assisting with processes as needed

Job Qualifications:

Undergraduate student with a major or concentration area in business management, project management, operations management, or related field.
