SUMMER INTERN POSITION

 

Professional Development

 

The purpose of the Summer Internship Program is to introduce local college students to vast opportunities available within the world of social services.  Interns will learn and grow in a supportive environment through job shadowing, participation in cross-functional teams, mentoring, and hands-on experiences.  Additionally, they’ll work with other interns on a self-selected team project. Through this exchange, interns will be exposed to ways they can directly and positively impact the lives of our community members.

Job Summary

Our training center is seeking a dynamic and creative intern to support our marketing and outreach efforts for onsite trainings and webinars. This role offers hands-on experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies, including designing digital flyers, crafting promotional materials, and executing outreach campaigns. The intern will play a key role in expanding the visibility of our training programs, engaging with target audiences, and enhancing our online and offline promotional efforts.

Additionally, the intern will assist in evaluating training effectiveness through participant reviews, researching professional development resources, and contributing to event planning logistics. The intern will be integral for the completion of our Touchpoints & Infant Mental Health signature initiative material assembly and training readiness. This opportunity is ideal for students eager to gain experience in marketing, event coordination, professional development and educational program promotion while working in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Job Qualifications:
Undergraduate student with a major or concentration area in degrees associated with Training & Development, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
