Job Summary
Team Member performs skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, equipment, and systems. Must maintain the HVAC & refrigeration units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning and steam distribution equipment and systems
> Ensure the filters are clean and belts are in good working order
> All bearings should be greased and coils cleaned
> Operate heavy and specialized machinery, equipment and tools utilizes in the repair, installation and maintenance of large heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
> Performs brazing, soldering, pipefitting, and welding
> Repair and maintain food service equipment including ovens, grills, steam generators, deep fryers, and refrigeration units
> Promptly responds to all repair requests
> Maintain records related to inspections, work orders, and equipment logs
> Calibrate systems
> Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment
> Repair and replace defective parts in units and equipment related to HVAC and refrigeration
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules, and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
SPECIFICS REQUIRED:
> High school diploma or GED required
> At least 21 years of age
> 1 year of prior HVAC Technician experience
> Must have HVAC & Refrigeration certification
> Knowledge of operations, services, and activities of a general maintenance program
> Knowledge of local and state codes related to air conditioning, electrical systems, maintenance, and repair
> Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques of food service equipment
> Valid Driver’s License and be insurable on Company’s Policy
PREFERRED:
> Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations

> Guest service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Accurate and detail-oriented

> Skills to clean and maintain materials and equipment

Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the Team Member is frequently required to stand for extended period of time, walk, bend at waist, kneel and crouch. Reach overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally. Climb ladders and work from roof tops/heights. The Team Member must be able to move, lift, carry, push or pull heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) short distances (20 feet or less).The Team Member will be required to meet all appearance guidelines while on duty or representing the company. These physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
WORKING ENVIROMENT: Working environment may vary depending on job. May be required to work in dusty, dirty, hot or wet conditions, or in confined areas, ditches, or other uncomfortable places. Office, gaming floor, and convention center environment, to include; flashing lights, frequent loud noises, and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile Guests. High volume, direct public contact.
