Job Summary
The EVS Supervisor is responsible to train, motivate and supervise EVS Attendants. Responsible for regularly scheduling the following: cleaning floors, furniture, windows, walls, and following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facilities. Must provide an exceptional experience for internal and external Guests and in both public and back-of-house areas. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization's policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP’s, and any other related training
> Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Communicate maintenance work needed to be done to the EVS Manager.
> Supervise the cleaning of Kiowa Casino public areas, restaurants, offices, and restrooms.
> Assist manager with preparation of weekly work schedules and payroll for EVS staff.
> Perform and/or manage the training and completion of duties of housekeeping staff, as needed.
> Assist with hiring, retaining, promoting, performance evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating Team Members with concurrence of the Department Manager, Department Director, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, and the Director of Human Resources
> Ensure Team Members follow safety rules and regulations.
> Conduct random inspections of public areas and office spaces and monitor Team Member performance.
> Clean lobbies, casino, lounges, restrooms, corridors, and stairways.
> Schedule and inspect all areas of the casino as needed regarding: Sweep, scrub, wax, and polishes floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies; dust furniture, artwork, and picture frames; wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork; wash windows, door panels and sills; empty and clean wastebaskets and ashtrays.
> Transport trash and waste to disposal area properly and in timely fashion.
> Replenish or help order/inventory bathroom supplies when needed.
> Reposition chairs, tables, etc. to their original positions and inspect all public areas in the casino to ensure cleanliness and proper disposal of any unused glasses, bottles, debris.
> Report all defects in equipment, furniture, and fixtures to the EVS Manager.
> Supervise and/or clean and dispose of biohazard waste in proper equipment when required, which may include feces, vomit, and blood.
> Offer support and assistance to other Team Members and departments.
> Maintain knowledge of special events, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.
> Must adhere to safety rules and regulations and applicable processes for safe operations.
> Perform additional duties or projects, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
> High school diploma or GED required
> 2 years' experience in an EVS or custodial position with at least 1 year at a lead or above level is preferred.
> Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises EVS attendants.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
> Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming License is required.
> Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.
> Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug test.

PHYSICAL
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. Conditions in this job may require exposure to extreme heat or cold and/or equipment, tools, or chemicals that can be hazardous if not handled or disposed of properly. Job requirements include ability to lift, move, carry, and balance heavy objects and involve standing and walking for hours at a time.
While performing the job duties, the employee is required to maneuver in all areas of casino and related entity locations when necessary. Ability to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the offices and between buildings or properties for the duration of work hours. Frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, including lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, or boxes, up to SO pounds. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color, and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office or other equipment and examine documents, records and files.

Social perceptiveness to assess and understand other's reactions and behavior. Critical thinking to use logic and reasoning, to reach conclusions or optional solutions. Comprehension in assessing, analyzing and processing alpha, numeric and visual data, and the ability to accurately formulate or complete required documents. Ability to concentrate on tasks over a period of time without being distracted.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work in, or visit offices, casino operations, assigned outlet, hotel, kitchen, meeting space, convention center, gaming floor, motor vehicle, various amenities, and/or additional entity locations, or external environments, as related to business. Environment includes exposure to second-hand smoke, high noise level, bright lights, and sometimes fluctuating temperatures or weather conditions. Must be able to work irregular or additional hours or shifts, including holidays or weekends, as assigned, in order to meet business needs.
