The Table Games Dealer is responsible for providing superior guest service and a professional, welcoming demeanor while dealing various table games. Duties include welcoming guests to the table, dealing cards, handling buy-ins and accurate payoff transactions related to assigned table games in strict accordance with the department policies and procedures. Effectively communicate with managers and staff, verify fills, credits and chip amounts issued and notify floor supervisors of any game irregularities with regards to transactions or customer play. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the organization’s policies and procedures, tribal regulations, and all federal/state laws, as needed.
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, SOP’s, and any other related training.> Ensure an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the properties, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner.> Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt.> Conduct the game in accordance with Kiowa Casinos’ policies and procedures.> Advise Floor Supervisor or Floor Manager of any player disputes or irregularities that may arise during the game.> Follow all management instructions.> Attend all meetings as assigned by Table Games Management.> Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.> Ensure all Guests are treated professionally with their experience at Kiowa Casinos.> May be required to deal the following games as needed: Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and any other games known as assigned.> Maintain a high level of Guest confidentiality.> Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, Title 31 and to the MICS.> Maintain knowledge of special events, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.> Perform additional duties or projects, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE> High School diploma or GED is required.> 1 year previous dealing experience or successful completion of a dealing course preferred.> Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the regulations governing gaming operations preferred.REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & ABILITIES> Must be at least 21 years of age.> Regular and reliable attendance.> Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.> Strong verbal communication skills.> Ability to work cooperatively with all departments and all team members.> Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. > Ability to maintain high confidentiality.> Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner.> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.> Ability to follow directions.> Ability to count large sums of money accurately.> Ability to stand while working for extended periods of time.> Ability to process basic mathematical functions.
