Employment

The primary responsibilities of an inventory control clerk are to perform a daily inventory of all vehicles parked in the facilities assigned to and controlled by PPA.  Work is performed in an outdoor environment in all types of weather.

Principal Duties:

• Utilizing a vehicle equipped with AutoVu to capture license plates in the parking facilities.
• Utilizing a AutoVu handheld computer to capture license plates in the parking facilities.
• While performing inventory responsibilities in the facilities, assist customers with information, directions, etc.
• Assist customers entering the parking facilities.
• Perform other job duties as assigned by the Manager of Inventory or Inventory Control Supervisor

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to stand and walk on foot for a long period of time.
  
• Ability to work well with others.
  
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  
• Experience with keypad entries is a plus
  
• Must have safe driving skills and the ability to operate a motor vehicle in tight and congested conditions.
  

Working Hours: PPA airport parking is a 24/7/365-day operation. Applicants must be available to work all shifts, including, weekends and holidays.

Minimum Acceptable Training, Experience, and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Valid Driver’s License

Internal Applicants:

• 80% Interview
• 10% Evaluation
• 10 % Attendance
  Internal Applicants who have at least ten (10) years of service will have four (4) points added to their total score.  Only those applicants with a combined total score of 70 will be placed on the eligibility list
