Strategic Analysis, Inc. seeks a Senior Defense Financial Manager to provide program planning, budgeting, execution, and related PPBE analysis for a DoD/OSD R&D program. 

As a Senior Defense Financial Manager you will:
• Function as a member of a coordinated support team in grasping complex concepts and technologies, applying critical and innovative thinking, communicating effectively, and working seamlessly across the breadth of functional areas.
• Assist with the preparation and tracking of financial and budgetary data.
• Provide research expertise and program support to activities with regard to procurements, schedules, risk, user impact, and technology/system transfer efforts.
• Conduct analyses of program budget execution.
• Prepare and coordinate MIPRs, purchase requests, funding documents, and Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA).
• Prepare documentation to support requests for resources.
• Perform account reconciliation, identifying/tracing financial discrepancies and coordinating corrective action.
• Maintain cognizance of program funds, and provide inputs for regular and ad hoc meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance:  TS/SCI required.

Education:  BA or BS in business administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline required.

Experience and Skills:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience performing financial analyses and execution of programs and projects, including preparing MIPR, sub-allocations, and Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA) funding documents; tracking and managing funding activities of obligations and expenditures; monitoring program budget execution; preparing documentation to support the budgetary process; identifying/tracing financial discrepancies and coordinating corrective action; providing data updates to financial management tools; maintaining cognizance of program funds; and providing inputs/reports to support briefings.
