Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Reliance 21 initiative and S&T Communities of Interest within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).  The goal of Reliance 21 is to ensure that the DoD S&T community provides solutions and advice to DoD’s senior-level decision makers, Warfighters, Congress, and other stakeholders in the most effective and efficient manner possible to meet joint warfighting needs.  This is achieved through an infrastructure and ecosystem of technical coordination groups, known as Communities of Interest (COIs), that enable information sharing, alignment of efforts, coordination of priorities, and support for scientists and engineers across DoD’s S&T enterprise.

WorkLocation:  This is a hybrid position.  On-site work with ourgovernment clients in the Mark Center of Alexandria, VA is estimated to be 2-4days per month.

Responsibilities: 
• Provide calendar and communications support.  Prioritize, manage, and coordinate complex schedules for internal and external meetings across the DoD.
• Prepare and provide weekly status updates on S&T program progress, innovation, and related material.
• Provide administrative support to technical SMEs during the evaluation, execution, and administration of S&T proposals, programs, and other initiatives.
• Plan and manage logistics, prepare agendas, and accomplish coordination for portfolio reviews and meetings.
• Prepare documents, letters, emails, and presentations and distribute to large audiences.
• Maintain document management systems, databases, and program files.
• Create and disseminate meeting minutes to ensure key information is captured and actions documented. 
• Help maintain a collaborative COI wiki space for the Defense Communities.
• Assist with ad hoc requests from S&T executives, COI leaders, and staff to include answering inquiries from senior DoD leadership, Congress, and the White House.

Requirements: 

Clearance:  An active DoD SECRET is required and ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI.

Experience: 
• Five (5) years of recent and relevant work experience is required.
• Experience supporting S&T program management and knowledge of Defense S&T activities, organizations, and planning processes are preferred. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proofreading and editing, and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams applications are required.  SharePoint experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to deliverables scheduled.
• Prior experience supporting and interacting with senior government officials, including SES or flag officer equivalents, is preferred.

Education:
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.  Specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements.
