Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) seeks a
SBIR Tech Transition Analyst
to support our OSD customer in the development, execution, and oversight of a DoD-level SBIR/STTR transition and commercialization program that leverages best practices of participating federal agencies.
Location: This is a hybrid position in the Washington, DC commuting area. On-site work with our government clients in the Mark Center of Alexandria, VA is anticipated to be 1-2 days per quarter

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a
SBIR Tech Transition Analys
t, you will:
• Support the development and implementation of initiatives to improve SBIR/STTR transition and commercialization.
• Identify, design, and employ new strategies and techniques to track technology transition/commercialization.
• Analyze methods, processes, and tools that lead to the successful transition or commercialization of various technologies.
• Assist with technology portfolio management according to the National Defense Strategy focus areas, and other assigned categories.
• Assist with Technology Readiness Level assessment and facilitate technology demonstration, validation, and testing opportunities for small business concerns (SBCs).
• Assist in collecting DoD transition and commercialization data as well as with preparing informational materials to highlight DoD SBIR/STTR Program requirements, opportunities, and successes.
• Collect and maintain accurate data on investments that further the development and/or commercialization of Phase II technologies. Reconcile Phase III data with the Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG) and other relevant databases.
• Coordinate DoD participation at various meetings, conferences, and other events designed to foster connections between SBCs, government acquisition personnel, commercial partners, and other stakeholders.
• Review program plans and related documents and provide comments to identify and mitigate risks to the accomplishment of projects and goals. Track progress and suggest alternate approaches for projects behind schedule.
• Make recommendations for improvement of effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: An active DoD SECRET clearance is required.
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field or business is required. A master’s degree is preferred. Specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements.
Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent and relevant experience is required; SBIR/STTR program/project management support is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in the conception and execution of new projects (i.e., no pre-existing business processes) without detailed guidance from the client and often within short deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to coordinate across large groups at multiple levels.
• Ability to adapt and shift priorities to meet client requirements.
• Advanced MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
