Strategic Analysis, Inc. seeks a highly organized Workflow Coordinator to lead the correspondence/task management and related administrative process for a Front Office operational team supporting the OUSD(R&E) in its mission to identify, explore, and ensure the development, integration, and funding of new technology and capabilities to maintain U.S. technological superiority. 

This is a hybrid position within the Washington, DC commuting area. On-site work with our government clients in the Mark Center of Alexandria, VA is anticipated to be 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities: 

• Serve as the operations lead for an OSD directorate, facilitating the coordination of official correspondence, staff support activities, and package assembly and review for decision by senior DoD leaders.
• Facilitate meetings with operational counterparts to synchronize efforts across the organization.
• Maintain configuration and quality control of all correspondence packages, legislative actions, briefings, programmatic material, and organizational files to assist SES leadership and technical directors in the management and oversight of S&T programs.
• Draft, coordinate, and review official correspondence, action and info memoranda, concept papers, presentations, and website content for completeness, accuracy in spelling, grammar, and assembly, and compliance with Departmental standards.
• Provide operations management to include delivery/receipt of administrative packages from other government offices, assisting in the determination of organizational equities and required action, and processing correspondence to appropriate action officers.
• Support the compilation and coordination of packages for OSD Public Affairs, Legislative Affairs, General Counsel, and Freedom of Information and Security Review, as applicable.
• Monitor the correspondence and task management system (CATMS) to ensure all actions are assigned properly and accomplished within established deadlines.
• Identify obstacles to implementation of administrative initiatives and recommend solutions.
• Develop decision-quality materials for scheduled and unscheduled in-progress program review meetings and briefings.
• Conceive, construct, and disseminate implementation status reports and program metrics to support discussions with senior leaders.

Requirements: 

Clearance:  An active DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Education:  A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business or a technical field is required. Specialized experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements.

Experience/Skills:
• A minimum of five (5) years of recent and relevant experience is required.
• Experience in an administrative, operational, or action officer type capacity, including support to government officials at the SES or flag officer equivalent, is preferred.
• Knowledge of DoD coordination protocols, processes, Manual for Written Material, and correspondence systems, such as CATMS, is preferred.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and above-average skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications are required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and perform at a high-level under short deadlines is required.
