Strategic Analysis is seeking a versatile, skilled
Senior Travel and Logistics Specialist
to support the Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA). It is of paramount importance to exceed our client's expectations with high integrity and focused attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating travel arrangements, including air travel and lodging, using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and commercial systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading government contractor and support the national security
mission.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and planning of travel requirements including creating travel authorizations and vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS), travel projections, and tracking travel expenditures for the PMs.
• Arrange domestic and international travel for Government personnel (OD, DD, ADPM, PA, and PMs) and prepare all associated travel documents in accordance with DARPA guidelines using DTS (OD, DD, ADPM, PA, and PMs).
• Maintain appropriate government equipment tracking database.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience related to DoD travel and logistics/equipment management
• Bachelor’s degree; experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Experience utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS).
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills are mandatory.
• Strong sense of initiative and sense of urgency, with reliable follow-through/execution skills.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
