Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) Is actively seeking a
Lead Mental and Behavioral Health SETA
to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
Role/Responsibilities:
1. Seeking an individual with project management, oversight, and leadership experience for complex programs with multiple component parts focused on achieving transformative change and broad innovations in mental and behavioral health.
2. This individual will provide day-to-day oversight and leadership to a high-performing team, ensuring that organizational projects and initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.
3. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience, outstanding leadership skills, and the ability to manage and align multiple team members towards achieving organizational goals and excellence.
4. The candidate should ideally possess a strong background in mental/behavioral health or neuroscience, enabling them to contribute valuable insights towards initiatives in this domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Oversight:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to various team members to ensure the successful implementation of organizational goals and initiatives related to mental and behavioral health.
Act as a trusted advisor, managing key priorities and serving as a point of contact for stakeholders.
Ensure alignment of all projects with the organization's mission, vision, and goals, particularly focusing on mental and behavioral health initiatives.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex programs with multiple component parts.
Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Team Management:
Foster a high-performance culture by motivating and mentoring team members.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Provide regular updates to the senior leader on project statuses, team performance, and organizational progress.
Operational Efficiency:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and ensure consistency.
Manage resource allocation and optimize the use of organizational assets.
Communication and Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive reports, compelling presentations, and executive summaries for the senior leader.
Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
Represent the organization in high-level meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
Qualification Requirements:
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in an operations leadership or similar role, with a very strong background in project management.
2. Significant experience in mental health or behavioral health, demonstrating a strong understanding of the field.
3. Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple component parts, preferably within a large organization.
4. Exceptional leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Strong proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Trello, MS Project, Asana).
7. Strong proficiency in developing presentations and engaging visual materials is preferred.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
9. Outstanding ability to manage complex projects simultaneously.
10. High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Mental Health, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field; Master's or Doctoral degree preferred.
Clearance: Ability to obtain HHS Public Trust
