Strategic Analysis Inc. is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the Army Science Board (ASB) in its mission to provide the Army with independent advice and recommendations on matters relating to the Army's scientific, technological, manufacturing, logistics and business management functions, as well as other matters the Secretary of the Army deems important to the Department of the Army. The Adminstratvie Specialist will support government personnel in the full range of administrative and programmatic issues impacting ASB activities.

Onsite work with our government clients in the Pentagon and at SA HQ is necessary. Telework options are available within the Washington, DC area. 


Responsibilities:

·  Draft and maintain ASB Standard Operating Procedures. 
·  Draft and maintain ASB Biographical Book.
·  Draft and maintain project/process charts for the annual study cycle. 
·  Draft, maintain and update the ASB Membership Handbook to reflect the current year study cycle. 
·  Update the ASB Charter biennially for ASB Executive Director's review and approval.
·  Support ASB staffing packages per HQDA policies. 
·  Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and practices of NARA standards 
·  Conduct analytical reviews and provide recommendations on current/planned ASB projects.
·  Coordinate with OAA, OGC, DUSA, USA offices and ACMO as required to complete tasks.
·  Coordination with senior leaders and external organizations including meeting coordination, scheduling and support to the Executive Director of the Army Science Board 
·  Support in development, maintenance, and modification of calendars and schedules.
·  Support Electronic Records Management activities.
·  Support proper assignments, tracking, monitoring, reporting, and completion of assigned taskings and suspense.
·  Prepare, modify and support the administrative requirements to publish the ASB study reports. 
·  Prepare memoranda, briefing slides and materials to support other administrative functions and processes of the ASB using Sharepoint, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word. 
·  Coordinate facilities and prepare briefing packages for ASB IPRs. 
·  Answer phone calls and email in a timely manner. 
·  Develop briefings and reports on study, meeting, and member activities. 
·  Develop and distribute materials to support the coordination of Board studies, meetings, and member activities. 
·  Document management, staffing and travel coordination in support of the Executive Director. 
·  Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to support official Department of Army / DoD activities.


Qualifications:
·  Active TOP SECRET clearance.
·  Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience.
·  Ability to work onsite at least two (2) days a week, which includes work on government site or at SA HQ as needed.
·  Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
·  Demonstrated ability to perform at a high-level of proficiency on short deadlines and with minimal supervision.
·  Familiarity generating, handling, and protecting classified material.
·  Experience with workflow and project management tools such as Smartsheets, Google Workspace products, and Office 365 products.

Preferred Qualifications:
·  Active TS//SCI clearance.
.  Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS). 
.  Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
· Experience with supporting/creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other task management tools. 
· Previous experience with Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) preferred.
