POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Assists with oversight the preparation and submission of contract billing to the Federal Government. May be required to maintain and monitor specific funding obligated through Contract Modifications for Mission Execution Plans (MEP), general funding allocation for mission support, work orders and contract administrative corrections. Assists with maintaining projects in the Project Master files of the Deltek Costpoint Accounting Software; sets up new projects and manages GFEBS rates. Provides support with continuous direct communication to the Accounting and Finance Staff, Operations, Resource Integration Center, Department Managers, Project Leaders, Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representative, Government Directorate Personnel and Budgeting Program Analysts. Responsible for additional tasks as required.

 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or five years professional related experience, to include accounting principles, standards and procedures and working knowledge regarding work breakdown structures. Must possess a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and be proficient with Microsoft Word. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work well under a demanding environment and with little or no supervision to meet all deadlines. Must have a valid driver’s license. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Much of the work is done at a desk using a computer; Intermittent standing and walking: Moving around the office to file documents or attend meetings; Using hands and fingers: handling office equipment and typing; reaching with hands and arms: accessing files and office supplies; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, or kneeling to retrieve items from lower shelves or drawers.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Experience working with Deltek Costpoint Accounting Software.
