Accounting responsibilities include all facets of general ledger postings; accounts payable; accounts receivable; bank reconciliations; and payroll/timekeeping reviews and corrections. Assists with preparation of financial statements, cash flow forecasts and reconciliation of accounts. Duties also include support in generating contract invoices and cost reports submitted to the Government. Provides direct support and communication to field operations leadership.
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or related field. Must be able to work well under a demanding, highly dynamic environment with little or no supervision. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have a valid driver’s license. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: CPA level training and experience. Experience with financial systems, such as Deltek Costpoint or similar government contract accounting software. Government contracting experience. Five years professional related experience, to include accounting principles, standards and procedures and working knowledge of work breakdown structures. A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
