Performs the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors, floors, stairs, casings, and trim made of wood. Work involves use of standard hand and power carpentry tools to measure, cut, assemble, and finish work including painting or texturing. Responsible for use of established safety equipment, materials and procedures.
Work will include associated cross-utilization other jobs as required. May require some overtime and/or weekend work.
Must have demonstrated satisfactory skills and good performance as a Carpenter. Must have three years progressive experience as a Carpenter or have graduated from a two year resident course at a vocational institute or a recognized apprenticeship program.
