SUMMARY:

The Community Relations Coordinator supports our marketing and outreach efforts. This role will work under the supervision of the Community Relations Manager to help implement marketing strategies, manage social media content, and support community engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate must also be willing to fill gaps in operational needs across the organization on an as-needed basis. Regardless of the task, this position will be provided with ample training and resources to ensure success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor content across various social media platforms.
  • Help coordinate community events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Maintain organization of marketing materials and communications.
  • Support the development of newsletters, flyers, and other promotional materials.
  • Track engagement metrics and provide insights on outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with SCHC’s mission.
  • Assist with filling operational gaps within SCHC as needed, ensuring flexibility and a collaborative approach across departments.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with basic graphic design or marketing tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving needs and tasks with guidance and training.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Graduation from high school or the equivalent. Possess at least two years of related work skills such as medical office or similar with proven training.
