This position is to ensure the business, Information Systems (IS) and Quality Assurance (QA) Analysts are in sync and in agreement on project requirements implementation. This includes creation and maintenance of requirements as well as enablement of constructive collaboration on requirements. This position will provide organization for requirements artifacts and interface with IS technical resources at appropriate times in the development life cycle to maintain the integrity of the requirements and system design. Additionally, analysts will ensure that business and IS teams have an adequate understanding of the requirements and technical design to reduce unexpected downstream issues. The position will also assist with the subsequent implementation of the policy process systems as well as system and workflow enhancements.
As a lead, this position will manage and direct teams for the design and development of policy processing system and workflow enhancements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and document the design and implementation of policy processing systems and system enhancements, as well as processing and workflow procedural enhancements.
Function effectively as a team leader.
Provide coaching and support to Business Analyst I, Business Analyst II, and Business Analyst Senior.
Prioritize assigned work and assist the Business Analyst team in managing their workload.
Prepare and deliver cost benefit analyses to organization stakeholders to determine the viability of proposed enhancements.
Provide coordination of continuous service improvement in processes connecting the business and IS.
Support and enable the processes of change management within the organization.
Identify and recommend methods and procedures for re-engineering processes to improve service to members in conjunction with departmental and company goals.
Ensure that all system and procedural enhancements comply with regulatory rules and company guidelines.

At least one of the following:
* Bachelor’s degree in a computer, technical, or business administration related field from an accredited school with substantial experience demonstrating skills required.
* Associate degree in a computer, technical, or business administration related field from an accredited school with extensive experience demonstrating skills required.
Insurance domain knowledge with Property & Casualty background preferred.
Ace Certified PolicyCenter Business Analyst preferred.
Demonstrates extensive abilities to perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of implemented solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Guidewire software to continuously enhance system performance and functionality.
Exhibits creative thinking strategies beyond the boundaries of the existing corporate framework and displays a willingness to discuss new strategies with management.
Demonstrated ability to take on a leadership role supporting multiple projects through the efficient use of assigned personnel.
Ability to facilitate and organize the exchange of information with appropriate personnel to complete work.

Strong knowledge of basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite, and data processing procedures.

Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation or disqualify the employee from the Certified Fleet Operator Status under the Company Driving and Safety Policy.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Use of PC, telephone, copy machine, fax, and other office equipment over six (6) hours per day.
Extended periods of sitting and concentration.
Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 30 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Provide after-hours problem resolution when required.
Occasional long, irregular hours.
Work to be conducted in office environment owned or leased by company.
Travel, as required.
