FUNCTION
This position is responsible for SecOps functions at the Technician level. This requires the ability to perform more than one of the following functional areas:
Job Schedule Operations
Scheduling and integrating jobs
Application controls
Balancing and distribution of data
Learn to upgrade and configure scheduling software
Security Access Operations
Providing appropriate Data and User Security Access
Controlling, maintaining and monitoring security access to the computer infrastructure and data repositories
Learn to upgrade and configure security management software
Mainframe and Associated Systems Operations
Running and monitoring applications
Detecting application malfunctions and providing appropriate notifications
Code Migration Operations
Production path migration management
Test environment availability and readiness management
Code migration processes
Learn to configure migration software
Testing Operations
System test management and execution
Script and script catalog maintenance
Integration of testing with migrations
Learn to upgrade and configure testing software
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other team members on assigned projects.
Provide after-hours problem resolution as required.
Report status on assigned projects.
Effectively use software tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Effectively use the functionality of PC, Mainframe and Web applications and tools to perform job responsibilities.
Research and resolve problems with applicable software.
Research, evaluate, develop and deploy operational solutions to meet business needs.
Provide training to end users, when necessary.
Communicate with vendors and users for problem resolution, as needed.
Create and estimate project and task lists.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited school and (1) year of experience in a computer related field or an Associate degree or above in a computer related field from an accredited school and (2) years of work experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Ability and willingness to learn and extend skills.
Valid Texas driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation, or disqualify the employee from Certified Fleet Operator Status, under the Company Driving and Safety Policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Occasionally work long, irregular hours.
Provide after-hours problem resolution, when required.
Work to be conducted in office environment owned or leased by company.
