Which directly reflects a background in the areas described under duties, including (1) year of demonstrated supervisory experience.

Extensive knowledge of community resources and the needs of youth.

Ability to establish strong working relationships with the public, especially with the staff of community agencies.

Ability to provide public speaking, staff training, and community presentation services.

Ability to exhibit emotional maturity and good judgment, including high standards of morals and speech.

Must be dependable and flexible with regard to working hours.

Must follow and carry out written and oral instructions quickly and accurately.

Must be able to use discretion in all facets of work-related situations.

 PROGRAM MANAGER:  Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, is responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting supervision of operations for the assigned program.

JOB CHARACTERISTICS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. This is a professional position that requires organizational and communication skills, as well as judgment, tact, and diplomacy in contact with YDI employees, community residents, parents, and local government agencies.  

 

Strict adherence is required to all regulations concerning confidentiality.

A background investigation, including fingerprinting, will be required.  

Physical is required upon hire and may be required intermittently.  

Frequent travel is required by the employee. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of car insurance is required.

Employment is by mutual consent of the company and employee, and either may terminate the relationship at any time with or without cause or advance notice. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not Inclusive): 

  • Works directly with the Clinical Director to develop, coordinate, and conduct supervision of operations for assigned program.
  • Collaborate with local, state, and other service agencies for program development.
  • Monitor case management of clients.
  • Coordinate with other YDI Programs to ensure continuity of services.
  • Provide written monthly program reports to the Clinical Director no later than the 5th of the following month.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of programs, including purchasing, inventory control, staff scheduling, and other department records.
  • Will work directly with the Clinical Director in formulating policies and procedures according to the requirements set by the department.
  • Will oversee service planning and delivery and provide program consultation as appropriate.
  • Will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring case records and implementing the use of the recordkeeping system by staff.
  • Will recommend, plan and/or conduct in-service training for program staff in conjunction with the Clinical Director.
  • Will work in conjunction with the Clinical Director to meet all contractual requirements and the Scope of Work (SOW) for the programs assigned.
  • Will conduct employee evaluations and provide necessary employee assistance, guidance, and improvement recommendations, as needed.
  • Will provide information on appropriate community referrals.
  • Attend all required training and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
